The Drappier family have been producing Champagne since 1808. This historic and pioneering house was instrumental in re-introducing Pinot Noir to the Aube post phylloxera and they continue to work at the cutting edge of champagne production. Provenance, Excellence & Distinctive style are the mantras, both in the vineyard, which they increasingly farm according to organic principles, and in the cellar, where minimal use of sulphur is the rule and the wines remain un-filtered. In 2016, Drappier became the first Carbon Neutral Champagne House. To maintain the legacy from generation to generation, the Drappier family has been investing for the last ten years to reduce its carbon foot print and employ numerous environmental practices.
