Iberian Peninsula Spain-Portugal Wine Dinner

The evening will be hosted by Phil Thompson Head Chef and Owner of THOMPSON St Albans, Sommelière Johanna Benitah and Duncan Ross of Berkman Wines. We will begin with a sparkling twist on a classic white Sangria & canapés, followed by an Autumnal four course menu, each dish accompanied by a matching wine pairing from the Iberian Peninsula, perfectly selected to enhance the balance and seasonal flavours within the dish.
We will battle between two countries, well renowned Spain and underestimated Portugal uncovering wines of very different styles, textures and aromas. Our Sommelière will talk you through the unique qualities and characteristics of each wine.
Tables times for this special evening are 7.30pm, 7.45pm and 8pm subject to availability. Please note these are sit down times, if you would like to have a drink with us in our newly refurbished lounge bar area, please can we ask that you arrive half an hour before the time of your table.
