New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu

We look forward to celebrating the build up to the New Year, sharing a wonderful evening and indulging you in Phil Thompson’s 7 Course Tasting Menu, with the option of matching wines, carefully selected to enhance the already magnificent flavour combinations of each dish. Mid-night will not only be ‘seen in’ with the chimes of Big Ben but also… our very own Stephen Mcilvenny, Demi Chef de Partie for THOMPSON St Albans, who is from Aberfoyle in Scotland, will be playing the pipes whom, we are proud to say, competed at national level. (Stephen will also be playing at our Burns Night Event.)

As this is a special event we ask for full payment up front of £125 per person to secure your reservation.  Our service charge is 12.5%, your payment on the evening will only consist off drinks in our lounge bar and or at the table.

Please note our cancellation policy is 3 weeks in advance of the booking date for New Year's Eve. Our largest table seats a maximum of 12 people for New Year’s Eve only (see our Celebrations Page or Christmas Party Menu, for private hire on other days of the year). As this is a special event we ask for full payment up front of £125 per person to secure your reservation.  Our service charge is 12.5%, your payment on the evening will only consist off drinks in our lounge bar and or at the table.

Should you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please let us know us at the point of booking.

We are closed (as normal) Sunday evenings, Monday and Tuesday lunch times during the Christmas period. This excludes Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, for which Phil Thompson has prepared a luxurious 7 course tasting menu. We are also open New Year's Day, when we will be offering an indulgent and traditional, Sunday lunch menu... sore heads welcome! We'll spoil you, saving you the hassle of shopping and washing up.

Please note we are closed we are closed in January from the evening of the 1st, very much open for a traditional Sunday lunch during the day of the 1st and re-opening for dinner on Friday the 11th of January.
