Yes, it’s a Tuesday but… its the perfect solution for a sore head or big family lunch.  We’ll take care of the preparation, cooking shopping and of course the washing up, allowing you to sit back relax and indulge…  


Wonderful roast lunch options to choose from: beautiful 40-day aged rib eye beef, supplied locally from Bridget B’s farm, juicy Dingley Dell pork belly with crunchy crackling, succulent roast leg of lamb, and not forgetting fabulous Cornish fish as well as vegetarian options, accompanied by fresh seasonal vegetables, our famous crunchy duck fat roast potatoes and homemade gravy, cooked slowly for 24 hours, finishing off with some indulgence including; a classic crumble or something chocolatey, with crème anglaise or homemade ice cream, or the luxury and festive, cheese & port option.

Please advise of any special dietary requirements at point of booking. A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill. For parties of 6 or more we ask for a deposit of £50.00 per head to secure your booking.

We are closed (as normal) Sunday evenings, Monday and Tuesday lunch times during the Christmas period. This excludes Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, for which Phil Thompson has prepared a luxurious 7 course tasting menu. We are also open New Year's Day, when we will be offering an indulgent and traditional, Sunday lunch menu... sore heads welcome! We'll spoil you, saving you the hassle of shopping and washing up.

Please note we are closed in January from the evening of the 1st, very much open for a traditional Sunday lunch during the day of the 1st, New Year's Day, re-opening for dinner on Friday the 11th of January.
